bow of the week.
february 27 - march 5
has anyone figured out yet that i'm pretty bad at following up what i say with actually doing it. (at least when it comes to blogging... and painting.) well, i for one know that one girl is definitely tired of waiting on me to get with it and blog about her already and after such a fabulous weekend co-hosted by the one and only brittany taylor, i couldn't hold off any longer! the last week in february was dedicated to her. and this little bouquet definitely does not do her justice, but hopefully it brightened her day. (after all, she is the queen of "happies" and i know she appreciates the small things.)
it saddens me that i didn't know brittany when she sported this hair-do because with hair like hers...
...and glasses (and hair, and hat, and outfit) like mine, i am more than confident that we would have done some serious damage in middle school.
this girl makes it a point to be there for, not just mine, but everyone's special occasions... everyone that she love's anyway :) not only is she there, but more than likely she has at least had a hand in pulling everything together if not the head planner of the entire event. she is probably one of the most dependable girls i have ever met in my life and is more than willing to sacrifice her day if it means helping someone else or doing something to make them happy. she keeps more on her plate than i can even talk about (AND she keeps it organized.)
she is a more than fabulous friend to everybody, but knows exactly how to make you feel like you are the most special one of all. she is thoughtful and gracious and knows everything about etiquette. (she is also stubborn and unwilling to ever be wrong... hey, i couldn't let her be perfect, then no one would believe me. and after all every girl has the right to stand her ground, so who's to say that's even a flaw?)
nick and i could not be luckier to have a friend like brittany. i've never seen anyone go soooo above and beyond for people the way that she does. blessed, blessed, blessed is what we are to have her in our lives. she is one of the most UNSELFISH, loving, precious friends that God has graced me with. i am oh-so-grateful for our friendship and can't imagine what i would ever do (or what i ever did) without her. i love you bTa!
